Key Features of WebClaim

FAST AND EASY new claim set up

There are six easy steps to create a WebClaim Automobile, General Liability, or Workers’ Compensation loss.
  1. Choose the Property where the Incident occurred and a Date of Loss. Specify the (optional) Adjuster assigned to the case, the Insurance Carrier and the Coverage Group.
  2. Enter Incident and Claim details with (optional) police report information.
  3. Capture the Claimant and Claimant Attorney details.
  4. If legal information is available, or if the Claim is known to be In Suit, you may enter important milestone hearing, mediation, and trial dates.
  5. Keep track of any known financials by entering Paid, Outstanding Reserve, and Recovered amounts.
  6. Finally, enter any Adjuster Notes that you would like to store with this case.
The claim is now set up and ready for group collaboration with Adjusters, Attorneys, and Risk Managers.

Ongoing claims management

WebClaim is the collaborative entry point where all claim modifications are made as the cases progress. As documents relevant to the case such as Incident reports, Tender correspondence, and Financial ledgers are obtained they are quickly uploaded and attached to the Claim.
New financial details such as updated Indemnity and Reserve amounts are easily entered and made available. WebClaim also provides detailed Authorization, Demand, and Offer amounts on a case-by-case basis. A sophisticated Third Party Potential management module enables you to track and report on the financial contributions named parties may make in resolving certain litigated cases.
Another powerful and useful feature is the ability to manage Claim legal information. Keep track of significant dates related to Answer Due, Arbitration, Pre-Trial, Trial, and Settlement Conference. For litigated cases where local counsel has been retained, you can even view Attorney information right down to their case load.

Decentralized user management

WebClaim provides a rich set of granular User permission attributes in an easy to use Administrative control panel. User accounts may be managed by System Administrators that you delegate this permission upon. You decide what permissions to grant your Users such as access to Automobile, General Liability, and Workers’ Compensation claims and Property Management information.

Property management

A significant portion of the WebClaim application is dedicated to Property Management. Using WebClaim’s sophisticated controls, you can maintain reporting rollups by Classification, Portfolio, Region, or Team. Unlimited database storage for Service Providers, Insurance Policies, Objects, and Notes help ensure that a wealth of property information is always at your fingertips. A bound Property Location Code module helps ensure that only losses in a correct (current or historical) policy year are permitted.

Rich and diverse coverage groups

WebClaim provides a diverse range of Coverage Types within each Automobile, General Liability, and Workers’ Compensation Coverage Group. Distinct Types include Bodily Injury, Collision, Property Damage, and Med Pay. Workers’ Compensation claims contain comprehensive medical details including Injury Type, Body Part, Secondary Facts and Treatment Information.

Defense counsel information

Manage Automobile, General Liability, and Workers’ Compensation Defense Counsel details. For each coverage group, WebClaim even displays a summary report that allows Users to see the Defense Counsel’s open, closed, and re-opened Claim workload.

User task list

Let your Users manage open and completed tasks like phone calls, written correspondence, emails, court dates and claim reviews right inside WebClaim. You can also view other Users’ tasks to check workload or just to follow up on pending projects.
