Key Features of WebCert

EASY certificate management

WebCert provides a dashboard to help manage your Certificate information. The action you take revolves around this dashboard. You see the Certificates expiring in the days ahead, most recently generated Non-Compliance, Renewal, and Request Notices and the most frequently visited buildings.

Save time with master certificates

When a new Certificate of Insurance arrives for processing, you navigate to the Insured and enter the new Certificate details. WebCert has a Master Certificate feature which allows you to set up common Certificate settings in advance for an insured at multiple locations. A click of the mouse copies that Master Certificate information to your new Certificate. To modify an existing Certificate, you simply navigate to the Insured and make your changes in the respective coverage group(s).

One button certificate validation

Once you save the information, the Validation Engine checks the values on the supplied Certificate against the requirements for that building and immediately provides you with easy-to-understand pass/fail messages for all requirements, which may then be acted upon. The Validation Engine automatically adjusts for changes made in Excess Carrier/Policies in the affected General Liability, Automobile, and Workers’ Compensation coverage groups.

Certificate coverage groups

Certificate of Insurance coverage groups currently include Automobile, Excess, General Liability, Garage, Other, Property, Workers’ Compensation/Employers’ Liability, and the Miscellaneous/Additional Insureds process module. Each referenced coverage group also is extended to the Master Certificates.

Efficient diary entries

The Diary processing module is the area in which you generate letters and review the diary history objects for each Insured. The process starts by choosing the Building you are working with and the option of Non-Compliance, Renewal, or Request notices. A list of all Insureds for the Building is shown with a list of actions. Choose as many actions as you wish and click the “process” button. An individual Adobe Acrobat PDF file is generated for each iteration of the job and then another for the job file itself. In this fashion, you may print all the individual items for a particular job at one time. All of your actions are recorded in the Diary history module so that the application remembers what processes you have performed and what remain.

Building financial requirements

The WebCert Building management module features an unlimited number of Business Types giving you the flexibility to precisely define financial requirments for locations that are Traditional Retail, Office Space, Medical/Dental, Industrial, etc. When validating a Certificate of Insurance, the selected Business Type that was used in the validation process is recorded in the application audit trail.

Insured/Tenant management

The WebCert Insured management module features a rich set of controls for tracking information about your tenants at a given building. An unlimited number of Insured Addresses, Notes, and Diaried History Objects may be stored for each Insured. Business documents such as lease agreements and scanned Certificates of Insurance may be uploaded for each Insured.

Control of information

WebCert provides a rich set of granular User permission attributes in an easy-to-use Administrative control panel. User accounts may be managed by global System Administrators that you delegate this permission upon. You decide what permissions to grant your Users such as executing Diary notices, Read/Write for Insureds, and Read/Write for Certificates of Insurance.

Account Groups allow a System Administrator to place Buildings into functional categories like East, West, Owned, Managed, etc. Using this information, an administrator can easily add a user to an entire Account Group or an individual Building.

AM Best carriers information

WebCert provides accurate and timely financial health metrics for approximately 3,500 Property and Casualty insurance carriers. Items such as AM Best Grade and Financial Size Category are utilized in the validation engine process and are made available to Users on a Read Only basis.
